Apple was the first US company to be a Trillion-dollar company. As of March 2021, Apple’s market cap was increased to $2.08 trillion.

What makes this company so successful? Let’s have a look.

Apple released its first iPhone in 2007 whereas Samsung and Motorola released phones with similar technology in 2009. Apple always believes in empowering its customers. Apple recognized that normal stores will not appeal to the customers hence they planned stores that give an excellent experience. Other stores often restrict customers in some way or the other. Very often people have buyer’s remorse, but not with Apple. Their service strategy is embodied by the acronym APPLE, meaning Approach Probe Present Listen End.

The sales staff is trained to Approach customers with a personalized, warm welcome then Probe politely to understand all the customer’s needs. Next, they Present a solution for the customer to take home. Listen for and resolve any issues or concerns. End with farewell and an invitation to return. A good store experience will often result in higher sales.

To everyone’s surprise, Apple has also partnered with another Competitors rival – Samsung.

After this partnership – Samsung television users no longer need to purchase an Apple TV set-top-box to access Apple content.

This teaches us, that its nothing wrong to collaborate with the competitors if it results in combined success.

As of August 2019, Apple’s US job footprint grew by 2.4 million. Entering markets of Asia and Africa, Apple provided job opportunities in these continents as well. They hired a diverse workforce, each of them provides them with a unique perspective and hence understand the mind of the masses.

Once you use Apple there is no going back, the business model of Apple works in such a way that it makes people spend more on owning their products. The Brand loyalty that has been instilled over the Apple community has led them to become such a big tech giant.

Although the reasons for being a successful brand look simple it’s their consistency, great software, strong content, and apps and services overall that make this brand so profitable and unique. It is no rocket science that in years to come Apple will continue to grow and capture a larger market share.
