My Mother

Maa Young

Losing someone close is never easy.

On May 29, 2022, my world changed — I lost my mother.

What helped me was remembering her — the life she lived, and the love she gave.

My mother, Kamdakuwar Rathod, was kind to everyone.

She helped people quietly, without expecting anything in return.

Even now, her thoughts and prayers still guide me.

I remember her praying for me every day.

Even though she’s no longer here, I feel like her prayers still support me.

They help me stay calm and choose the right path.

She left me with so many good memories — her smile, her support, her simple ways of showing love.

She was always there for us, without making a big deal out of it.

Whenever life gets hard, I think about what she would say or do.

That helps me feel stronger and more grounded.

I feel lucky to be her son.

She taught me to be kind, to stay strong, and to care for others.

I try to follow those values every day.

See you, Maa…
Be happy wherever you are…
We’ll meet again.

If you’ve lost someone, remember the good they brought into your life.

Talk about them. Share their stories.

That’s how we keep their memory alive.

We don’t stop missing them — but we can carry their love forward.
